In-Home Urban Farming
2021 / Innovation

Design Goals
This work imagines a city operated under more strict environmental policies as the key to long-term success in sustainability efforts. A storyboard can below of an urbanite living in the year 2035 with a fully-fledged garden flourishing within their own kitchen and supported by their apartment building.
Urban farming being the focus of the changes being made within our food systems, cities have been transformed to be healthier and more self-sustaining, appealing to consumers’ need for accessibility and convenience.
The shift into self-sustenance facilitates a reorganization of how we perceive food, agriculture, and sustainability. Found below are the storyboard, video explanation, and written fictional story about how this effort could have happened.
