Hi, I’m Anjali, an artist, designer, and baker based near Syracuse, New York.
I’m passionate about transforming ideas into experiences that feel thoughtful, personal, and visually compelling. With a background in Fine Arts and a degree in Strategic Design and Management from Parsons School of Design, I’ve always been drawn to work that blends artistry, storytelling, and intention. Right now, my primary medium just happens to be cake.
What began as a lifelong love of baking evolved into creating bespoke cakes that feel deeply connected to the people and celebrations they’re made for. After developing the dessert program for my family’s restaurant, Ruby Begonias, I discovered a passion not only for baking, but for designing cakes that become part of a celebration’s atmosphere and memory.
Every cake is made from scratch by hand using real, whole ingredients and locally sourced products whenever possible. My work is inspired by thoughtful flavor pairings, balanced design, texture, color, and detail. I approach cake design the same way I approach art: with intention, emotion, and the goal of creating something memorable.
Whether it’s an intimate cutting cake, a full wedding centerpiece, or a dessert table shared among friends and family, my goal is always the same: to create something beautiful, meaningful, and personal to your celebration.
