This cake was designed for a sunshine-themed baby shower at The Brewster. The client wished to pull elements from the invitation to design the cake. The cheerful florals and playful hand-painted sun bring warmth while the overall design remains timeless and elegant. Four layers of almond vanilla bean cake were paired with vanilla bean buttercream and finished with hand-piped floral details in shades of blue, burnt yellow and deep navy.
